PDH stands for Propane De-Hydrogenation, which represents a process or facility to produce propylene through dehydrogenation of propane.

The CB&I Catofin PDH technology is considered as one of the leading technology for propane dehydrogenation process worldwide. SK Advanced has set up one of the world’s largest PDH plant with licensed capacity of 600 KTA and using latest generation technology which reflects very high energy efficiency and best in class raw material unit consumption rate.
Together with ethylene, propylene has been widely used as a base material in the petrochemical industry, produces PP (66%), PO (7%), AN (6%), etc., which are used for many key applications of petrochemical products as below.
